Internship Workshop offered to Northwest students today

Eager Bearcat students can get some help finding an internship. Career Services is hosting, "Finding an Internship Workshop," on the Northwest Missouri State campus this afternoon.

Career Development Coordinator, Travis Cline, says it's for students who are just beginning the internship search process.

"It goes over the very basics of defining what an internship is, tells them about the academic credit internship option and kind of the process for that."

Cline says they will have students fill out a form to help with their search.

"We'll take that form and we'll show them the resources on the website and kind of how to go through a search, walk them through jobs, listing sites, things like that.  But we take the information from that form and we will actually start a search process for them."

The workshop runs from three o'clock until four o'clock at the Student Union, in Meeting Room D.
